About Me

Private pay speech therapist

After I graduated from Boston University with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, I worked briefly in a short term rehabilitation facility before starting my 8-year career in the outpatient department of Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. While there, I specialized in cognitive rehabilitation as well as speech and language disorders. I gained extensive experience treating patients with brain injury, stroke, post-concussion syndrome, and progressive or chronic neurological diseases.  I completed video swallow studies and treated patients in both English and Spanish.

I enjoy working with patients and their families and celebrating large and small successes with them. My clients describe me as warm, patient, and dedicated.

I am licensed in Massachusetts and certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I also have an undergraduate degree in Spanish from Bates College.

When I am not treating clients, you can find me supervising graduate students in a university-based aphasia clinic and spending time with my family. I am based in Needham, Massachusetts.
